Pilbara TAFE operates from 6 major sites and a number of smaller sites in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. The region is rich in mineral reserves and has a population that is ever changing. There are many challenges in delivering education in the region and this site is one of the diversified attempts to service the needs of the population in the region.

You will not be able to use this site without first enrolling with Pilbara TAFE. The enrolment process will require you to fill out a form and return the form to Newman Campus for processing. When you have been enrolled your tutor will send you details of how to start your study. The enrolment will be valid for 6 months from the date of processing. At the end of this time if you have not completed all the requirements to be deemed competent you will be asked to reapply to continue your studies. Under special circumstance the time limitation can be varied but each case will be looked at independently.

ICA10105 Certificate I in Information Technology
ICA10105 Certificate I in Information Technology is based on books from Software Publications. To complete the units of study you will need to purchase the book referenced in each unit of study. The books are available for each unit or as a two volume set suitable for all 6 units which make up ICA10105 Certificate 1 in Information Technology. The books are available from Newman Campus or can be purchased online from the publisher's web site (www.softwarepublications.com.au).
Work on ICA20105 Certificate II in Information Technology has been suspended.
